Dr Michael J Sinosich established the Division of Prenatal Testing within Sonic Clinical Institute in 2002. Michael is an internationally respected investigator in early pregnancy well-being. Dr. Song-Nan Chow graduated from College of Medicine, National Taiwan University (NTU) in 1968(M.D.). He currently serves as the Chief of Health Operations of Wayne County Department of Health and Human Services and County Health Officer for Wayne County where he oversees all health related operations for the 13th largest County in the Nation. Dr. Hammami is responsible for promoting and assuring health and quality of life by providing, maintaining, developing and coordinating a wide-range of innovative and fiscally responsible educational and health services including technology intitatives. Dr. Hammami is a member of several professional and honor societies and has had many publications in various peer reviewed medical journals.

Katie Moriarty (CNM, PhD, CAFCI, RN) is the Director of Nurse-Family Partnership at Detroit Wayne County Health Authority. She has been a nurse-midwife since 1992 and was the first midwife certified by Acupuncture Canada. She launched the first Integrative Healthcare and Complementary Therapies Clinic in Pregnancy and Reproductive Women’s Health at the University of Michigan, Nurse Managed Center. She is the Region IV Representative for the Board of Directors of the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM). Dr. Moriarty earned her BScN at the University of Windsor, Ontario CANADA; MS and PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. George Perry received his PhD in Marine Biology from Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California at San Diego. He completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Cell Biology, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.Dr. Perry joined the UTSA faculty in 2006 from Case Western Reserve University where he was Professor of Pathology and Neurosciences and Chair of the Department of Pathology. He is also distinguished as one of the top 20 Alzheimers disease researchers with over 800 publications, one of the top 100 most-cited scientists in Neuroscience & Behavior and one of the top 25 scientists in Free Radical research . He currently serves as and President for the American Association of Neuropathologists. He is on the editorial board of over 60 journals including American Journal of Pathology and Journal of Biological Chemistry, and is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease.

His studies are focused on the mechanism of formation and physiological consequences of the cytopathology of Alzheimer disease. We have shown that oxidative damage is the initial cytopathology in Alzheimer disease. They are working to determine the sequence of events leading to neuronal oxidative damage and the source of the increased oxygen radicals. Their current studies focus on (i) the mechanism for RNA-based redox metal binding; (ii) the consequences of RNA oxidation on protein synthesis rate and fidelity; (iii) the role of redox active metals in mediating prooxidant and antioxidant properties; (iv) the signal transduction pathways altered in Alzheimer disease that allow neurons to evade apoptosis; and (v) mechanism of phosphorylation control of oxidative damage to neurofilament proteins.

Irene Chain Kalinowski (1956) was born in Rotherham South Yorkshire, England to Polish immigrant parents, grew up and trained as a midwife in Rotherham. She has practiced midwifery through three continents, Europe, the Middle East and New Zealand. She currently practices in New Zealand as a self-employed case loading midwife. She holds a diploma in Homeopathy and provides holistic midwifery care where 95% of women sustain normal birth and celebrate it. She has delivered more than two thousand babies. She has practiced midwifery for thirty five years. A journey, that has taken her through countries where women have faith in childbirth and through countries where birth is medicalised and women are fearful of it. To that her first book the Heart and Soul of Midwifery tells a story of how birth has become so complex in our western society and how we need to make changes in the way we provide maternity services. She released her second book My Body My Baby in March 2013 inspired by her niece’s traumatic birth experience and alarming C Section rates. Deeply concerned about the loss of a dear midwifery colleague she co- authored the book With Woman With Midwife with Me in 2014. Irene believes that no woman should be traumatised from her birth experience and that childbirth should be a spiritual and celebrated event. Irene is very passionate about midwifery and her colleagues around the globe to which she co- authored the book Three Blind Mice in which three midwives have three mouse angels and they are on a mission to save childbirth and midwives. Irene has Also authored Let It Be and The Ugly Ducklings, and has co-scripted two screen plays. She is Director of Marketing at Word First Publishing

Levine received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1974 and his M.D. from the Chicago Medical School in 1978 and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in 1982. He has been Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology continuously since 1984. He is a member of a number of medical societies including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Chicago Gynecological Society, the Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Medical Informatics Association, to name a few. His involvement in research, education and quality has allowed him to author numerous articles in medical journals, leading him to often lecture to physician audiences. Dr. Levine serves as Director of Informatics & Research in a department of obstetrics & gynecology for decades, having developed and implemented a SQL perinatal database; and as a Medical Director of Informatics for a hospital, promoting the adoption of an Electronic Health Record in a large healthcare system. He continues to have a general obstetrics and gynecology practice, and has been listed in America’s Top Doctors for over a decade. He lives with his wife and has 2 adult children.

Mostafa I. Abuzeid, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., F.R.C.O.G., studied at Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt, where he received his P.N.S undergraduate degree in 1970. He continued with is graduate work at Cairo University, Faculty of Medicine, where he received his M.B., CH.B degree with honors. In 1979, Dr. Abuzeid traveled to the United Kingdom, where he completed his OB/GYN residency training at the following Hospitals: St. Stephens Hospital, Westminster School of Medicine, London; Marston Green Hospital, Birmingham; University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. In 1981, he completed an OB/GYN residency at Wayne State University, Affiliated Hospitals, Detroit, Michigan. During his residencies, he developed a passion for the field of reproductive medicine. In 1984, Dr. Abuzeid pursued his dream of becoming an infertility specialist, and in 1986 he completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Abuzeid is board certified in OB/GYN as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility in both the United Kingdom and the United States. In 1989, Dr. Abuzeid established an in vitro fertilization clinic in Flint, Michigan, at the renowned Hurley Medical Center, where he began not only his career as a clinician but also as an academician as assistant professor in OB/GYN for Michigan State University's School of Human Medicine, Flint Campus. In 1991, Dr. Abuzeid became associate professor, and in 2001, he became full professor. As a professor, he has trained many medical students and residents in the field of reproductive medicine. Today, Dr. Abuzeid, Professor of OB/GYN, Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Director of IVF Michigan, Rochester Hills and Flint, Michigan, continues to work as a respected clinician, researcher, and professor and is a member of both the European Society of Human Reproduction and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Abuzeid is considered a foremost expert in the area of infertility, having authored well over 200 publications, abstracts, book chapters, and reviews. He continues to research at his facility to remain on the cutting edge in the field of reproductive medicine.

Dan C. I have been awarded the “Golden Telescope” for introducing the SEED technique for embryo implantation with visually directed endoscopic control of embryo implantation and subsequently have innovated the HEED embryo transfer for the early stage embryo transfers. Nikolaos Zacharias, MD, FACOG, is a native of Greece; he earned his medical diploma with excellence from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece (1995) reciting the Hippocratic Oath as a top graduate in his class. Dr. Zacharias received numerous Hellenic scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate education (1989-2002). He trained in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, (1998-2002), elected chief resident in 2001. He received the Council of Resident Education in Obstetrics & Gynecology Outstanding Academic Achievement Award four consecutive years (1999-2002) for scoring at the top 3% of his U.S. peers at these annual examinations. His passion for prenatal sonography and profound interest in pregnancy complications led him to a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston, Texas (2002-2005), where he received the UTMB Hospital Academic Fellowship Award (2002-2005) and enrolled in a Masters in Medical Science post-graduate program on clinical research design (2003-2005, all courses passed with excellence, thesis defense pending). Dr. Zacharias returned to Baylor as assistant professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division (2005 - 2013). He served as medical director of the Harris Health System Prenatal Ultrasound Screening Program (2005 - 2012) and as founding medical director of the Ben Taub Maternal Fetal Medicine Prenatal Ultrasound Unit (2008 - 2012), having supervised over 30,000 prenatal sonograms. Dr. Zacharias has been an active member of the Texas Children’s Fetal Center (2006-2013), teaching faculty at Ben Taub General (2005 - 2013) and Texas Children’s Hospital (2008 - 2013). He is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (2008) and Maternal Fetal Medicine (2011). Dr. Zacharias received Baylor's medical student faculty teaching award (2011) and was elected to America's Top Obstetricians & Gynecologists (2012). He co-directed the maternal-fetal medicine elective clerkship at Baylor College of Medicine with Dr. Robert Carpenter (2012-2013). Michael Galloway, DO, is a graduate of Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, CA. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright State University and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Galloway is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, specializing in routine, high-risk obstetrics, vaginal pelvic reconstruction, and laparoscopic and robotic assisted gynecologic surgery. Dr. Galloway currently practices at Miami Valley Hospital and is an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Galloway is a founding member of the " Robotic Residency Training Network " which includes several other residency programs including Duke, North Carolina, John Hopkins, Harvard, Cleveland Clinic, Lehigh Valley, Central Florida including Wright State University. During her clinical laboratory vocation, she was solicited by the Chief of Surgery at Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo, NY, to direct the Surgical Research laboratory. There she successfully led the research on the use of human micro vascular umbilical cord endothelium for lining stents. It was while Sherry was at Millard Fillmore Hospital, that she was awarded the “1st Place - Award for Excellence in Research” from the American Federation for Clinical Research In 1997, Dr. Bradford was approached by the Department of Pharmacokinetics, at Millard Fillmore Hospital, to lead their newly formed Pharmacokinetics Oncology Department. As the Principal Investigator, she was charged with the responsibility to develop an in vitro chemo sensitivity test on tumor cells using the flow cytometer. In 2008, Dr Bradford and colleagues form AccuTheranostics and the idea on Oncology Personalized Medicine based on the specific patient’s own biochemical and genetic profile to administer Personalized treatment regimens.Currently, Dr. Bradford sits on the EDITORIAL BOARD of the International Journal of Medical and Health Sciences Research; commence on July 20 2014; and on the EDITORIAL BOARD of Insights in Cancer Research, and has authored and co-authored a number of scientific peer-reviewed manuscripts.She is also a member of many professional organizations including (but not limited to): International Metabolic Cancer Group, AACR, ASCO, and GLIFCA.

Dr. Concepcion Diaz-Arrastia received her medical education from UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School, and completed residency and fellowship training at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in 1994. She is board certified in obstetrics, gynecology and gynecologic oncology. As a leader in the implementation of new surgical techniques like the computer-enhanced (robotic) surgery in gynecology, Dr. Arrastia was the first to report that hysterectomies could be performed using the DaVinci system in 2002. Likewise, she was the first physician in Texas to perform fertility-preserving radical vaginal trachelectomy surgery for invasive cervical carcinoma. Dr. Arrastia strongly supports early diagnosis through universal cancer screening. As Medical Director of the non-profit organization, Dia de la Mujer Latina, she has undertaken the task of bridging the gap for those women in the medically underserved communities to have easy access to cancer screening.

Her research interests include developing molecular signatures of cervical cancer risk. She has served as Principal Investigator for several NIH funded translational research projects in HPV-associated cervical neoplasia with the goal of developing robust prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers for refining the pathological staging of cervical carcinoma. The ultimate objectives of Dr. Arrastia’s research are personalization of care optimizing treatment outcome, while minimizing adverse reactions.

Hani Gabra is Professor and head of Medical Oncology, Deputy Head of the Division of Cancer and Director of the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre at Imperial College. He is also Associate Director and Lead of the Cancer Division (Division 1) of the NIHR Clinical Research Network for North West London.

His basic research interests are in tumour-suppressor biology (OPCML and WWOX) and cancer multiplatform molecular profiling and integrative OMICS. He has translational research interests in the molecular basis of clinical platinum resistance as well as all phases of clinical research.

Magdalena Klink is a graduate of Microbiology at the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences, University of Lodz. In 1994, she defended her doctoral thesis, and in 2005 habilitation at the University of Lodz. She annual postdoc in the College of Natural Sciences, Chungnam National University, Taejeon, Republic of Korea. Since 2004 she has been working at the Institute of Medical Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences in Lodz, now an associate professor. Levine received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1974 and his M.D. from the Chicago Medical School in 1978 and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in 1982. Mostafa I. Abuzeid, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., F.R.C.O.G., studied at Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt, where he received his P.N.S undergraduate degree in 1970. In 1979, Dr. Abuzeid traveled to the United Kingdom, where he completed his OB/GYN residency training at the following Hospitals: St. Stephens Hospital, Westminster School of Medicine, London; Marston Green Hospital, Birmingham; University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. Dr. Abuzeid is board certified in OB/GYN as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility in both the United Kingdom and the United States. In 1989, Dr. Abuzeid established an in vitro fertilization clinic in Flint, Michigan, at the renowned Hurley Medical Center, where he began not only his career as a clinician but also as an academician as assistant professor in OB/GYN for Michigan State University's School of Human Medicine, Flint Campus. In 1991, Dr. Abuzeid became associate professor, and in 2001, he became full professor. As a professor, he has trained many medical students and residents in the field of reproductive medicine.
